Product Description Do you prefer your coffee one-cup at a time? Many coffeemakers make 6 or more cups of coffee. How often do you need 6 cups? If you really appreciate coffee, then, chances are, you like each cup to be freshly brewed. This compact coffeemaker is designed to fill an average coffee cup with up to fresh-brewed java. It's perfect for your office desk, your dorm room, or to take on a weekend (where coffee might be less available). The Black-&-Decker DCM-7 is the perfect coffeemaker for those that are very preferential about their coffee and want it available all the time and anywhere. Cup is not included

love it December 27, 2008 It sits in a corner of the counter, doesn't take up much space, easy to clean, delivers a hot cup of coffee in about 1 1/2 minutes or less (that's faster than a Bun!). I'm not a coffee hound, so this is perfect for me, & I don't end up throwing out left-over coffee. The average-sized coffee cup fits in it, & that's what keeps the cost low, by the customer providing their own cup (any coffee-drinker has several anyway). thanks for a great product!
Handy for overnighters where good coffee isn't available December 19, 2008 I like this. Small, lightweight, inexpensive, and packs in my carry-on easily. I probably could set it up in an airport while waiting between flights if I wanted to. The base doesn't heat, so you can use any sort of cup/container. I'm fussy about coffee and don't like to go into the world before I have my cup and this solves the problem compactly while away from home. I like a strong coffee, so I use 3 hefty tablespoons of coffee, medium to fine grind, for one cup. I chose this model over those with a travel mug because I prefer my own mugs.
I can't speak to how long it will last if it were used frequently, but for occasional use, it seems sturdy enough. I'm wondering if there are replacement filters available for these? If not, I suspect a paper filter would help increase it's functional life, but also it's cost over time.
4.5 stars at normal price, 5 stars on sale price.
I also wonder - is this stuff recyclable, or is it instant garbage when it's done working?
Mr Coffee December 16, 2008 This is my 4th or 5th One cup Mr. Coffee and I love it. Always can get a hot, fresh cup of coffee. Amazon has the best prices and great service. I received my Coffee Maker in record time.
great December 14, 2008 verry fast and saves making a whole pot when you just want a cup
Single Cup Coffee Maker December 13, 2008 I had a similar product 18 years ago and it worked real well. This latest product I bought doesn't do too bad a job. The only significant difference is that it doesn't heat the water hot enough. But all in all, it's doable.
