Get this one with the reservoir January 5, 2009 Outstanding personal coffee maker for the home. If you are the only person in your home who drinks coffee then this is the model for you. It holds enough water for eight cups at a time. The B30 does not have a reservoir so it wasn't optimal for me. If more than two people in your home drink coffee everyday then you'll probably want to get the next size up B60. NOTE: The variety pack that comes with the product is limited. Mostly regular bold, medium coffees, no real flavors. Maybe, a couple of hazlenut.
A review of the travel model, the B30 January 3, 2009 The B30 is a fine product for travel or very limited space, but it is WELL worth the extra money to get any of the larger models. Do your research, there's an easy comparison tool on Keurig's website, but you'll find that while this one delivers the same wonderful coffee as the bigger ones, you'll have to refill the water for each cup, and, it takes a full 3 minutes to brew, while the other models hold enough water for 8 cups or so, and take only seconds to brew each cup. That being said, this an an adorable little machine, brews outstanding coffee, and is way quieter than the big ones.
LOVE IT! January 2, 2009 I use my Keurig B40 on a daily basis. I absolutely love it. Preparing a cup of coffee is always quick and perfectly brewed. No mess and no grinds to measure out. I have used the teas aswell, which are very good but a bit expensive for brewed tea. My daughter loves preparing her hot cocoa on it aswell. I am contemplating getting another one to use at the office.
Get your coffee on! January 1, 2009 I purchased the Keurig B40 single cup coffee maker after reading the reviews and searching for it in stores.I am not a huge coffee drinker so for those who are not as well, this item is good for you too. It brews hot water, cocoa, tea and coffee. It takes only about 2 mins from start to finish. Put the cup in the holder, hit the button and 2 mins later, you have a full cup of beverage. It does make some noise when the heating element is warming up but after that, it runs smooth and is the perfect addition to the appliances in the kitchen. No more heating up a huge kettle of water on the stove or preparing a coffee maker that makes 30 cups of coffee and you only need 1 cup in the morning. If you are considering purchasing one, I give this 2 thumbs up and say go for it, you won't be sorry. It's well worth the price. I chose the B40 because it was the best for what I needed. The B30 was just to small and the B50 / B60 was to large. I only need a cup of coffee or tea. That's like buying a Ferrari to drive to Walmart. It looks good sitting in the parking lot but it serves the same purpose as a Ford Focus so, why pay all that money just for a cup of coffee? But that's just my 2 cents. As always....YMMV. NEOSOUL06
Really great product December 30, 2008 I just received the B40 for Christmas and I love it. Brews great, two options for amount of coffee, came with 18 little K-cups to start me off. Gave my mother-in-law the smaller version of this brewer, also a Keurig, and we found that it worked just as great, but you have to add your 8oz of water each time and only certain, generic mug sizes would fit the machine - no wide mouth mugs for that model. She is not a big coffee drinker, though, so it works out fine. The B40 fits any mug size, keeps water ready at a moments notice, and I noticed that someone wrote that it is loud at times. I think it goes through a cycle once in a while where it has to do it's thing - I have had this experience once when I first used it and it was not near 85 decibels, like that person wrote. GET THIS PRODUCT IF YOU LIKE COFFEE AND DON'T WANT TO PAY S***bucks every morning.
